About Us

The Doctors and staff at the Brunswick Health Centre are proud to offer the highest standard of patient-centred care.  We are a GP Training Practice and are passionate about training GPs for the future.  We also support Swansea Medical School at undergraduate level.

We run many chronic disease clinics such as asthma and diabetes.  In addition we offer a wide variety of other medical services including antenatal care, postnatal care, childhood vaccinations and well-person check-ups.

You'll find everything you need to know about the practice on this website in addition to a wealth of health-related information.  Please have a look around and send us feedback if you like.

Relocation Proposal Refused

We are sorry to announce that on the 3rd July 2023 the practice received formal notification from Swansea Bay University Health Board (SBUHB) that our proposal and plans to move to refurbished premises at Heathfield had been refused.

The Community and Therapies Service Group (PCTSG) felt that the proposal could not be supported on the basis that Swansea Bay University Health Board and the practice could be at risk of direct or indirect discrimination under the Equality Act.

As a practice we are disappointed with this outcome and are working hard to find a solution to provide improved facilities for our patients and staff. We'll update this website once we know more about our future.
