Asthma and Coronary Heart Disease Clinics

These clinics are run throughout the week. All are by appointments only. The Patients that fall under theses categories will be sent for and will be seen by a nurse or GP for their annual check-ups.

Diabetic clinic

All diabetics are seen during clinic on a Tuesday afternoon. All diabetics are advised to attend regularly to prevent problems progressing. This clinic is by invited appointment

Family Planning

This is available from all doctors and nurses during normal consultations.

Travel Vaccinations and Influenza Vaccination

Influenza vaccinations are available from the end of September every year, we strongly advise all patients over 65 years of age and patients of all ages with chronic diseases such as asthma, heart disease, diabetes or those patients who have had a transplant to have influenza vaccinations.

Some travel immunisation may be available from the NHS.  Others however are only accessible through private travel clinics: Medi-hub travel service

Malaria tablets are no longer available on prescription but can be purchased at a pharmacy at a reasonable cost
